The Great War of the Pearl was a long, brutal general war that ultimately involved all the major nations of Ariphora toward the end of the Ancient Times. It was fought for control of the Pearl of Power, ownership of which is said to denote the true and legitimate Emperor of Ariphora. The Pearl of Power was lost during the course of the Great War, which lasted for over 40 years.
